
Geda (Yoga)
Founder and director of Pop Yoga, Geda is a longtime yoga practitioner, seeker, teacher, traveler, and musician with an unending desire for truth, clarity, and adventure. Over the past 20 years, his journey has taken him to many corners of the world has had the tremendous privilege of learning from many great teachers, including Zen Master Mooji – who’s had the greatest impact on his life.
Extended periods of immersive study under the guidance of great masters, intensive meditation, and exploration of the world have brought Geda to a place that he loosely calls “a place of clarity and peace.” It is his humble wish to share with you this simple yet profound discovery through the practice of yoga, meditation, and guided self-inquiry.
Geda is a versatile teacher who has taught all over the world including India, US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, and Indonesia.
His classes are highly individualized and are based on the need and capacity of the student at that moment. As such, the emphasis is on presence of mind and conscious movement whether it is through a fiery Vinyasa flow or a deep and slow Yin Yoga sequence.
As well, his classes abound with humor and a joyful approach to the practice of yoga.
Holly (Yoga)
Yoga and Pilates have had a large influence in Holly’s life. Being a trained dancer, both these modalities are greatly utilized in her dance training and has been incorporated throughout her 20+ years of experience studying and teaching movement to all levels.
Her professional teaching career started as a dance teacher. As she grew as an instructor it was a natural progression to receive certifications in both Yoga and Pilates. As an instructor she has taught internationally including the United States, the Caribbean, and Asia and is an E-RYT-200 & an RYT-500 through Yoga Alliance in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, and Ashtanga yoga as well as certification in Pilates. Holly also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Rutgers University. Her diverse experience and training has awarded her with the joy of teaching all levels, from beginners to advanced, to enrich their experiences and make movement more accessible.
Her passion has become helping others to move and live more effectively for the best health possible. Holly’s classes focus on alignment of the body along with the coordination of breath and movement so the body and mind can gain balance, focus, strength and flexibility.
Each class is a new adventure!


Laurence (Yoga)
A practitioner of yoga for over 20 years, a dancer, a martial artist, a massage therapist and a student in Sanskrit, Laurence is a real force of nature!
Certified in Pralaya yoga (a modern style with a deep emphasis on conscious movement and alignment) and initiated in the Sri Vidya Tantra tradition she brings a vast knowledge of authentic teachings and modern insights into her teaching. More than just the simple gymnastics of the body, her practice emphasizes a conscious approach to postures, self-inquiry, and towards an integration of the whole being.
Laurence has always put the spiritual quest at the heart of her life. She sees the physical practice of yoga as a means to explore and discover the deeper aspects of life.
She has spent the last five years mostly in India to explore and immerse herself in the ancient tradition that each of her masters embody.
Ben (Meditation/Philosophy)
A charming and creative teacher who has a great deal of passion and knowledge of the world’s religious and philosophical traditions, Ben is unlike anyone you will meet!
In addition to his interests in comparative religious studies, Ben is a devoted practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, an expert in body mechanics and number of therapeutic modalities, as well as an avid surfer.
He describes himself simply as: Happy. Content. Human.
